EOC

UCB Australia has been recognised as a WINNER for Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards 2022. This award recognises organisations that develop leading workplaces, including through established policies and practices that demonstrate effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention.

“For us this award is a recognition of the commitment our people bring every day in their work to people living with these conditions, their caregivers and their families to help them live their best lives. This focus on people is core to our sustainability as a business. We endeavour to foster a working environment where people are happy, healthy, safe and able to thrive through a meaningful job.”

We're committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and the health of our planet

At UCB we have a genuine concern for our people, with patients as central. We also believe we need to take a holistic look at our impact on society and the role we need to play in diversity, equity and inclusion and the health of our planet.

In 2022, UCB Australia introduced two local working groups to address issues of importance to the company and to its people. These give employees an opportunity to help shape the focus of the business through the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and Health of the Planet Committee.

“As sponsor of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee, I help ensure we live a culture of inclusion. We understand the value of equitable opportunities and we are proud of the 62% female gender balance at UCB Australia.”

careers

UCB Australia is dedicated to implementing development plans for staff that focus not only on study and career development, but also in all aspects of the individual, such as health and wellbeing. We have introduced an integrated leadership curriculum that allows leaders to focus their leadership development into the flow of their work. Our flexible working policy allows staff to work from abroad in particular circumstances, supporting staff with different requirements to continue producing high quality work for the company.
